Local progress

Progress, XP, streaks, badges, saved moves, history, profile tuning, and feedback are stored locally on your device using browser or app storage.

Clearing browser or app storage deletes this local progress.

Manual backups

You can export a backup file to save your local progress. Backup files stay on your device unless you choose to share or move them.

Importing a backup replaces the local progress stored on that device. NextThing does not upload backup files.

Data we do not collect

NextThing does not sell data, does not use ads, and does not collect location, contacts, health data, payment data, or sensitive personal data.

NextThing is a productivity and wellness tool. It is not medical advice, therapy, diagnosis, emergency support, or a way to treat, diagnose, prevent, or cure any condition.

If you are in crisis or danger, contact local emergency services or a qualified professional.

Future changes

Optional cloud sync is future work and is not implemented yet. If future versions add accounts, cloud sync, or other online features, this policy will be updated before those features are used.
